The beauty of both Chyawanprash and Ghee is that they do not need to be refrigerated. In fact, they do better in a moderate room temperature, out of the fridge. And as per the ancient Ayurvedic texts, both ghee and chyawanprash's medicinal qualities improve over time.

This means they both have very long shelf lives. They like to be stored away from direct sunlight, as this light is a powerful transformer. The products are great how they are. No need for any extra transforming in the jar by us lol (either by excess heat or cold). We want to store these products in glass, so there is no plastic leeching, but you are in safe hands with PIOR Living’s jars as they are housed in dark glass.

I like to keep mine in a cupboard in the kitchen which is easily reachable so that I can consume it happily each day. But watch out if it’s too easily reachable, for you might have other family members quietly finishing it as I've experienced. Once they’ve got a taste for the chyawanprash, it's hard not to want more!!

Love, Selina
